How long does hair removal last?

After every laser hair removal session, you see a significant change in the treated area. The growth of hair reduces in that area and eventually the laser hair removal gives you permanent results.

Is there anything I need to do before a laser hair removal treatment?

1. Avoid the prolonged sun exposure and stay away from things that darken your skin like sunbathing, tanning bed, etc. We recommend our clients to avoid the sun exposure for two weeks before and after the treatment. 2. If you are on medication that anywhere links to making your skin sensitive to the light, we recommend you to talk to the medical practitioner or inform us so that you are guided better regarding whether it is the right time for this procedure or not. 3. Laser hair removal treatment cannot be done for the areas that are sunburned or if you have a tanning spray on. 4. Lastly, we ask the client to shave the area 24 hours before the laser hair removal session.

What happens after the treatment?

Generally, after the treatment you experience swelling or redness of the treated area. Moreover, the area may get a bit sensitive to touch. Sometimes, the treated area feels like a little sunburned. All of this is normal. To relieve any kind of discomfort, we advice our clients to use a cool compress or aloe gel. Usually, the redness and swelling start disappears within a few hours of the treatment.

What can I do after the treatment to help with the effects and healing?

We advise you to avoid direct sun exposure and take proper care of the treated area by regularly moisturizing and not using any scrubs or exfoliants on the treated area.

Microblading Healing Process: Everything You Need to Know

If you are interested in fuller brows, microblading is the perfect solution. You will wake up with perfect brows every day and will not have to spend time filling them in every morning.

It’s natural to have questions regarding the healing process, and this guide will tell you what you can expect:

Day 1:

You will love your new eyebrows because the colour and shape will be perfect!

Day 2 to 4:

Your eyebrows colour will darken slightly, but this is temporary. The fresh colour will undergo a period of oxidation, but this is minimal and should not last longer than seven days. Heavy scabbing is not something you should experience; you should feel comfortable going to work the next day.

Days 5 to 7:

Your eyebrows will start flaking, which is a normal part of the healing process. This can last 1 to 2 days, and you shouldn’t pick or itch your eyebrows.

Days 8 to 10:

This is when you can start to treat your eyebrows normally, as flaking will have finished, and you will feel fully healed. Your eyebrows will feel completely normal, but your skin will still be in the healing process, and your eyebrows will look lighter than they will be when fully healed at six weeks. Remember, you will have new baby skin, requiring a few more weeks to recover.

Days 14 to 28:

The colour and shape of your brows will look right.

Day 42:

You must schedule a follow-up at this time, and this is when you will be able to adjust anything you would like about your new brows. If you want darker or fuller brows, for example, this is your opportunity to make the necessary adjustments to ensure you love your beautiful new brows.

Microblading: Aftercare Considerations

Dry Healing

Some people use this method, which means you can’t get your microblading wet. After your appointment, you will not touch your eyebrows, allowing them to heal independently without assistance. No aftercare kit is required, and there is nothing for you to do, although you will experience heavy scabbing during healing and will lose more colour.

Wet Healing

Most microblading artists have their clients heal this way and will get you to apply a conditioner to your microbladed eyebrows every couple hours following your treatment. This needs to be done immediately using Q-tips and you’ll need to do this for 1 to 7 days, depending on your artist’s recommendation.

With this healing method, you will have less scabbing, and your colour will heal much more evenly, although you will have some work to do and must keep an aftercare kit on you.
